This small batch brownies for two is quick, simple and easy to make and they taste amazing. The recipe is also great for a recipe, if you bake it in a foil packaging for takeaways you can leave them to cool in there and package as a gift.

Ingredients for small batch of brownies for two

65 grams caster sugar

65 grams soft brown sugar

75 grams butter

50 grams dark chocolate

10 grams cocoa powder

50 grams plain flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 large egg

pinch of salt, optional

Method for small batch brownies for two

Prepare a small 6 inch square cake tin by putting baking paper at the bottom.

Pre-heat oven to 150 Celsius

Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave.

Mix and then add the sugars, pinch of salt then add in the egg

Add in the flour and mix

Put the mixture into the prepared cake tray, bake in the oven about 25-30 minutes until or until the toothpick comes out with a bit of cake batter like in the video. If there is too much batter put them back in the oven until baked enough.

Get them out of the oven, leave to cool and serve.
