These cinnamon and apple muffins are quick and simple to make and taste amazing.
Ingredients for cinnamon and apple muffins (Makes 6)
100 grams self raising flour
125 ml milk or Greek Yoghurt
55 grams melted butter or vegetable oil
50 grams wholemeal flour
40 grams caster sugar
2 small apples, cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Topping for cinnamon apple muffins
Some cinnamon sugar (optional)
Method for cinnamon apple muffins
Pre-heat oven to 200 Celsius and the line a cupcake/muffin tray with 6 cupcake cases
Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl
Add the dry ingredients and chopped apples and stir
Add the cinnamon sugar on top
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until well risen and golden brown on top
Test with a toothpick, if it comes out clean they are ready
