Can you add food colouring to ready to roll icing?
Yes, you can. I prefer to use gel colours. How to add food colouring to fondant icing.
The easiest way is to add a little bit of gel food colouring at a time until you get the shade you want. You can leave the colour to develop/go darker before adding more colour, if you have time.
