When a recipe calls for self-raising flour and you do not have any you can make some using two simple ingredients. This recipe is the ratio I use so if you have more flour just add more baking powder according to the ratio I use.
Ingredients to make self-raising flour
100 grams plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Method of making self-raising flour
Put the plain flour in a bowl
Add the one teaspoon of baking powder
Mix, and that is it.
You can sift the flour too if you like but not always necessary.
