In this video tutorial I am going to share with you a quick pizza dough with no yeast. This is a nice, quick recipe if you really want pizza without waiting around for dough to rise.
Ingredients for quick pizza dough no yeast
225 grams self-raising flour
140 ml milk or water (You can also use natural yoghurt, enough to make it into a dough)
50 grams unsalted butter (cut into cubes)
1 teaspoon salt
some black pepper (optional)
Method quick pizza dough no yeast
Put all the flour, salt and black pepper in a bowl.
Rub in the butter until it is completely rubbed in
Make a well in the centre and add in the milk or water
Mix and then knead it in the bowl to form a ball
You can knead it in the bowl or slightly floured work surface until smooth
Now it is ready to use.
You can make one large pizza or divide into two or four to make smaller pizzas.
Roll out the pizza dough with a rolling pin until quite thin. Use a the rolling pin to transfer on to a baking tray, with baking paper on it.
Put your toppings and bake at about 220 Celsius for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
Quick Pizza topping suggestions
Put some tomatoes, onions or leeks, herbs and salt in a bowl or food processor
Blitz and use as pizza sauce
