I will show you too how to bake this homemade cherry bundt cake.<\/p>\n<p>When the Great British Bake Off is on I like to bake as many of the challenges put forward for the bakers.<\/p>\n<p>I was quite impressed with the results.I followed the recipe exactly as it was and I did not change anything.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200g\/7oz glac\u00e9 cherries<\/li>\n<li>225g\/8oz self-raising flour<\/li>\n<li>175g\/6oz softened butter, plus extra for greasing<\/li>\n<li>175g\/6oz caster sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 lemon, finely grated zest only<\/li>\n<li>50g\/1\u00beoz ground almonds<\/li>\n<li>3 large free-range eggs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the decoration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>175g\/6oz icing sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 lemon, juice only<\/li>\n<li>15g\/\u00bdoz flaked almonds, toasted<\/li>\n<li>5 glac\u00e9 cherries, quartered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 180C\/350F\/Gas 4. Grease a 23cm\/9in bundt tin or savarin mould with butter.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the cherries into quarters. Set aside five of the quartered cherries for the decoration later. Put the rest of the quartered cherries in a sieve and rinse under running water. Drain well then dry thoroughly on kitchen paper and toss in two tablespoons of the flour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_9976.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-711\" src=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_9976-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9976\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/meadowbrownbakery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_9976-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/meadowbrownbakery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_9976-600x448.jpg 600w, https:\/\/meadowbrownbakery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_9976-1024x764.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Measure all the remaining ingredients into a large bowl and beat well for two minutes to mix thoroughly.
