In this video I am going to show you how to make pizza dough at home.  I also show you how to make pizza sauce from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to make homemade pizza sauce from scratch the ingredients are below<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients : How to make pizza dough (makes 2 medium size pizzas or one large one.  You can make more smaller pizzas)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>500 grams plain flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>250 ml lukewarm water (may need more or less depending on the flour you use)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   2 teaspoons salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>      7 gram packet of yeast<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>     2 tablespoon vegetable oil or olive oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>half a teaspoon of sugar (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mozarella cheese or cheese of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method : How to make pizza dough at home<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Get a cookie tray and put to the side<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make a well in the centre of the bowl, add in the oil and water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix this together to form a dough, knead it gently in the bowl, or on a lightly floured work surface.  Cover the dough and put aside for an hour.  (If you are out of time you can bake immediately)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the dough is resting make some pizza sauce (look below)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About 5 minutes before the dough is ready, preheat oven to 230 Celsius<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the pizza dough is ready, put some flour on a work surface,  put the dough on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knead the dough gently until smooth and then roll it out on the work surface until quite thin.  It will puff up in the oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making homemade pizza<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have made your homemade pizza dough you can now make the pizza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put the pizza dough on the baking tray, it is a lot easier to transfer it now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spread the homemade pizza sauce on the dough, leave a small boarder around the edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If using other toppings put them on top of the homemade pizza sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally sprinkle on the cheese<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on top<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Get it out of the oven and you can add some more fresh herbs on top before cutting and serving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Homemade pizza sauce from scratch<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients : Homemade pizza sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>150 grams tomatoes ( or as many as  you like)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>some fresh herbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>salt and pepper <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>one quarter teaspoon sugar (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put all this in a bowl and process, with a hand processor, until smooth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use a blender or food processor if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>       <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homemade pizza is so simple to make and you can put any toppings you like.
