It is a simple naked cake design and you can add any decorations you like on top. I just happened to have some French macarons which I used. If you would like to learn <a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/how-to-make-rosewater-macarons\/\">how to bake French macarons<\/a> I have a video tutorial showing you how to.<\/p>\n<p>There are two methods I use to bake macarons so you can choose any of the two but I prefer the French method of making macarons because it is easier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You will need the following<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A two layer cake<\/li>\n<li>Double this <a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/easy-small-batch-swiss-meringue-buttercream-recipe\/\">Swiss meringue buttercream<\/a> or any buttercream of your choice<\/li>\n<li>Some decorations for your cake<\/li>\n<li>If you want to try baking macarons you can find the recipes here<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/how-to-make-rosewater-macarons\/\">French method macarons<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/how-to-make-french-almond-macarons-italian-method\/\">Italian method macarons<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2jB1SQk\">A piping bag<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2I1C89I\">A round piping nozzle<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bake your cakes and then when they are cooled put one on a serving plate<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/how-to-use-a-piping-bag-without-a-coupler\/\">Put your nozzle in a piping bag <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Put the buttercream in the piping bag and then pipe the Swiss meringue buttercream on to the cake on the plate, make sure the whole cake is covered.<\/li>\n<li>Take your second cake and put it on top of the cake on the plate and pipe on top.<\/li>\n<li>Top it up with the decorations you are using.
