{"id":18084,"date":"2023-04-15T18:21:38","date_gmt":"2023-04-15T18:21:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1235014-4411782.cloudwaysapps.com\/?p=18084"},"modified":"2023-04-15T18:29:07","modified_gmt":"2023-04-15T18:29:07","slug":"lemon-drizzle-bento-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meadowbrownbakery.com\/?p=18084","title":{"rendered":"Lemon drizzle bento cake"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/29xSkKnv0BU\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this video tutorial I show you how to bake this vanilla bento cake recipe<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lemon drizzle bento cake recipe<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>One large egg (about 65 grams) weigh it in the shell<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>50 grams sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>50 grams butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>half teaspoon vanilla bean paste with vanilla beans or one vanilla extract<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>70 grams self raising flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>zest of one small\/medium lemon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Method for lemon drizzle bento cake<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Butter and flour a 4 inch round cake tin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put butter and sugar in a bowl and cream it together, add the zest of the lemon and whisk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add an egg and then whisk together<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add in the flour and fold it in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put the cake batter into the cake tin and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes (It will depend on your oven and cake tin)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make lemon drizzle with the juice fromone lemon and some sugar (about a tablespoon or two)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ysbN9vmS1bA\">Check with a toothpick <\/a>or cake tester inserted in the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean it is ready.
