This moist carrot cake recipe is one of the delicious ones and it is simple and quick to prepare.<\/p>\n<p>The cream cheese icing compliments the carrot cake perfectly! \u00a0I hope you will love this carrot cake recipe as much as I do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>225 grams grated carrots<\/li>\n<li>225 ml vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>100 grams caster sugar<\/li>\n<li>125 grams soft brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>100 grams slightly toasted, chopped walnuts<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon mixed spice<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>225 grams self raising flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To decorate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/cream-cheese-icing-recipe\/\">Cream Cheese Icing<\/a><\/li>\n<li>50 grams slightly toasted an chopped walnuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 175 Celsius<\/li>\n<li>Butter and line two 20 cm round cake tins and line with baking paper<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl add all the ingredients except the flour and walnuts into the bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon.<\/li>\n<li>Add the flour and mix until smooth and then finally the walnuts and mix<\/li>\n<li>Divide the mixture between the two cake tins<\/li>\n<li>Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Test with a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the middle of the cake it comes out clean they are ready.<\/li>\n<li>Let them cook completely before decorating with the <a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/cream-cheese-icing-recipe\/\">cream cheese icing <\/a>and the walnuts sprinkled on top.
