All these terms can be used interchangeably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients for plum galette<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/make-sweet-shortcrust-pastry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sweet shortcrust pastry<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>630 grams firm plums<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 tablespoons plain flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>30 grams caster sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 teaspoon cinnamon powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method for plum galette<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Make the <a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/make-sweet-shortcrust-pastry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sweet shortcrust pastry<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put some greaseproof paper on a cookie tray<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deseed the plums and then cut them into thin slices and put them in a bowl<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the flour, sugar and cinnamon to them<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roll out the sweet shortcrust pastry and then transfer it to the prepared cookie tray<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the plums on to the sweet shortcrust pastry leaving a border around it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fold the border over the plums<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brush with some egg wash and sprinkle some demerara sugar on top<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown on top<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove from the oven and let it sit on the tray for about an hour (if patient enough) Or serve hot if you like<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fruit juices thicken as they cool so you can have a clean slice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve the plum galette on its own or with whipped cream, custard or ice-cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This plum galette or plum tart is quick and simple to make.
