Just three ingredients and with just 5 minutes baking time ,these are a quick fix one egg biscuit recipe. Great for Covid- 19 isolation or lockdown baking. Eggs, flour and other ingredients are in short supply so here is one great recipe to try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients for one egg biscuits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1 large egg<\/p>\n\n\n\n

60 grams plain flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

45 grams sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

vanilla extract, optional<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decorating one egg cookies (Optional)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

melted chocolate, how to melt chocolate<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

a few sprinkles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method for 1 egg biscuits recipe<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare a baking tray by putting baking paper on it and putting it to one side<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a bowl, add your egg, sugar and optional vanilla extract<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whisk this together, preferably with an electric whisk, until the mixture is thick, creamy and light in colour. It will take a few minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add half of your flour and fold in the mixture with a spatula or wooden spoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the rest of the flour and fold in until all the flour is mixed in. Be gentle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fit a piping bag with a nozzle, you can learn how to do that in the video I made showing how to put a nozzle in a piping bag without a coupler.<\/a> If you need piping bags and a nozzle you can find them on my Amazon Store Front <\/a>(affiliate)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pipe the mixture on to the baking tray (makes about 15)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leave a bit of space between the biscuits<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, until slightly golden brown on top. Watch very closely because they can burn easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remove from the oven and leave to cool on the tray. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decorating the one egg biscuits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Remove them and then dip the ends in chocolate, you can use a spoon to help<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Put them on the baking paper you removed them from, add a few sprinkles and leave to set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
