Some of my experiments are a success and some are not. This pumpkin bundt cake recipe is one of the successful experiments. You can use butternut squash instead of pumpkin as well.<\/p>\n<p>I am going to share with you this delicious pumpkin bundt cake recipe. It tastes delicious! The spices fill the kitchen with a wonderful aroma when it is being baked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>240ml vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>4 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>425 grams cooked mashed pumpkin or butternut squash<\/li>\n<li>grated zest of 1 medium orange<\/li>\n<li>300 grams caster sugar<\/li>\n<li>110 grams soft brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>390 grams plain flour<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground cloves<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon mixed spice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 175 Celsius<\/li>\n<li>Butter and flour a bundt cake tin<\/li>\n<li>Pour the oil and the sugar into a large mixing bowl and beat together for about a minute.<\/li>\n<li>Add the eggs and orange zest and beat for about a minute<\/li>\n<li>Mix in the pumpkin, with a wooden spoon until smooth. You can also use a handwhisk<\/li>\n<li>Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until smooth<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cake batter into the prepared bundt cake tin<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 50-55 minutes, text with a cake tester, if it comes out clean it is ready<\/li>\n<li>Leave the cake in the bundt tin for 10 minutes before turning it onto a cooling rack to cool completely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To decorate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make <a href=\"https:\/\/meadowbrown-trh1.wp1.site\/cream-cheese-frosting-recipe-for-red-velvet-cake\/\">cream cheese icing<\/a> and spoon it onto the cake and put sprinkles on top or simply dust with some icing sugar and cinnamon powder.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"width: 120px; height: 240px;\" src=\"\/\/ws-eu.amazon-adsystem.com\/widgets\/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;OneJS=1&amp;Operation=GetAdHtml&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;source=ac&amp;ref=qf_sp_asin_til&amp;ad_type=product_link&amp;tracking_id=httpwwwmeadow-21&amp;marketplace=amazon&amp;region=GB&amp;placement=B003JHTCKU&amp;asins=B003JHTCKU&amp;linkId=ab62ccf7e34700fe7cb40c8e42129d85&amp;show_border=false&amp;link_opens_in_new_window=false&amp;price_color=333333&amp;title_color=0066c0&amp;bg_color=ffffff\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><br \/>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Variations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bake the cake in a tray bake tin and cut the baking time to about 35-40 minutes. Decorate with cream cheese and sprinkles or just dust with icing sugar and cinnamon.
